Kali Ray

Kali Ray (also known as Kaliji), born on April 11, 1955 in Kentucky, is a yoga master and founder of TriYoga.

Ray says that while in her twenties had a "spontaneous kundalini experience” while meditating which lasted over twelve hours.[1] In the 1990s, she met Ganapathi Sachchidananda (Swamiji) of Mysore, India, who initiated Kaliji as a swami in the Jayalakshmi Datta Avadhoota lineage.[2]

In 1986, Kali Ray established a TriYoga teaching Center in Santa Cruz, CA.[3]

There are currently 33 TriYoga centers in 30 countries.[4],[5]
